“He liked studying the Bible, discovering in it inspiration for all times, and he believed within the energy of prayer, praying each day for all kinds of individuals and conditions – domestically, nationally and internationally.
“Chris was a person of deep integrity and nice kindness. He had a servant coronary heart, was listener, and had a witty sense of humour.
“He shall be drastically missed at The Belfrey and within the metropolis of York.”
