How on earth did NATO and the West stand by and allow this situation in Mariupol to happen! These brave soldiers have risked and given their lives to protect not only Ukraine, but the rest of Europe from Russian aggression. In return, they have been let down by governments that have been tip-toeing around Putin's threats and have allowed him to bomb places like Mariupol to smithereens. Where are the no-fly zones, the fighter jets, artillery, drones, tanks and other effective weapons? I can only pray for the soldiers and for the civilians who are in this precarious situation in what happens to be the Orthodox Holy Week. Jesus Passion and death is theirs' while the Pilates of NATO and the West wash their hands of any responsibility.

This commander is requesting for other nation states to interfere in an internal conflict..This is not for outside countries to resolve. Rather, Kyiv needs to address this issue with Russia, and weapons need to stop on both sides in Mariupol before any side could even HEAR what the other side has to say!
