For the reason that Russian military attacked Ukraine, 1000’s of civilians have been killed and cities lowered to rubble, whereas tens of millions of Ukrainians have fled their properties.
Nevertheless Russia’s Overseas Minister Sergei Lavrov has advised the BBC: “We did not invade Ukraine”.
Mr Lavrov, who’s certainly one of President Putin’s closest allies stated: “We declared a particular army operation as a result of we had completely no different manner of explaining to the West that dragging Ukraine into Nato was a legal act.”
He repeated the official Kremlin line that there have been Nazis in Ukraine. Russian officers typically declare that their army is “de-Nazifying” the nation.
