A BOLTON-based taxi driver has gained a Parliamentary award.
Bolton South East MP Yasmin Qureshi nominated Mahmood Akhtar from Bolton Personal Rent Affiliation for an award on the All-Occasion Parliamentary Group on Taxi’s 2022 Personal Rent and Taxi Driver awards.
Mr Akhtar gained a Taxi Driver commendation award for his work and lengthy historical past of representing taxi drivers and the broader commerce in Bolton.
