Sunwing Airways says workers are nonetheless manually processing “as many flights as attainable” as delays attributable to a technical challenge persist, inflicting frustration on the airport.
“Our third-party methods supplier, Airline Alternative, continues to work on resolving their system challenge which was prompted by a compromise of their community,” the airline stated in a press release to International Information on Wednesday.
Sunwing first stated Monday that there was a network-wide system outage that was impacting check-in and boarding for its flights.
